why get married if you are already thinking of getting a divorce? marrige is an agreement -and commitment- between to people to stay together forever. that's what separates it from normal dating. if you don't want it to be forever, don't get married. "oh but i might change my opinion in 10 years", then you shouldn't be getting married to that person. unless you are 100% certain you want to be with that person forever, there is no point in getting married
why is everyone so obsessed with sex? a decent amount of songs revolve around sex. a bunch of movies have sexual scenes. being called "hot" is somehow a compliment. i might just be asexual, but i cannot comprehend why everyone places so much importance on it. do people really think about sex that much? do people really look at others and go "i wanna fuck with them"? also, why are clothes so sexualised? like halloween costumes and all are super sexual. why? why are women's constumes and clothes the most sexual ones? why are there so many sexual fanfics? WHY DOES FUCKING EVERYTHING REVOLVE AROUND SEX???
kinda related to the previous one, but can you really not hold the urge to have sex? is the desire so strong you need to have non-consentual sex with someone else? tbh, if i were to get raped i'd prolly kms. i'd rather get murdered than raped, but again, maybe i'm just asexual. also, why is it that most rapes are done by men to women? like i haven't heard of many lesbian rapes, not even gay rapes. it's almost (key word "almost") always a man to a woman. why? can men really not hold the urge to have sex? how can they be so consumed by sex they feel the need to rape someone? "it's about control", then why are you fucking someone? can't you assert control some other way?
why do people want to be constantly happy? what makes happiness more appealing or desirable than sadness? also, why be constantly happy? if you're always happy, happiness becomes the "standard". if happiness is the "standard" or the "base", then it becomes meaningless. if you're always happy, you'll get used to the happiness and it won't be as desirable anymore, just "normal". what will you do when happiness becomes "normal"? what comes after happiness? at that point, happiness will just feel like whatever you feel now, it will stop being special. from a biological point, wouldn't your brain just develop a resistance to seratonin? if there is constant seratonin in your brain, it will stop giving the desired effect. this kinda connects to the idea of heaven. if you are always happy in heaven, it will stop feeling special after a while, so what's the point?
why do people make such a big deal over the day you were born in? i never asked to be born, so why would i celebrate that day? also, why would i celebrate getting older? isnt getting old seen as a bad thing? if people are so scared of death, why would you celebrate being closer to it? i also js find the entire birthday thing kinda unconfortable. i dont like when people sing happy birthday to me. i dont like when they take pictures of me. i dont like being forced to ask for a present. i wish everyone would forget my birthday. i dont understand why people get so mad when you dont wish them a happy birthday on their birthday. for me, the less people that remember my birthday, the better.
why do people feel the need to post everything on instagram or tiktok? why do they have 5 different social media apps? like atp tiktok and istagram just do the same thing. snapchat is also quite similar. so why do they need to have all of them? why do they have whatsapp if they already text through instagram and snapchat? why do they expect me to have all of the apps? why do they expect me to post myself in them? what if i don't want to post pics of my day, food, outfits and all of that? why can't i just browse the internet privately? like i don't want people to see this website (especially people i know).
why do people blindly follow what others do just because other are doing it? like why do people see someone wearing something on tiktok and immediately want to buy it? why do they want to fit in so badly? why are they so afraid of being different? like for example girls roll up their skirts at my school. why? they're obviously unconfortable in them. when they sit they always pull at their skirts. when they go up the stairs they always cover their but with their hand. so why wear it so short? just because other girls wear it short? similar thing with the longchamp bags (or however they're called). why does every girl have one? why does every girl have the same long, pin straight hair? why can't they each have their own haircut or bag that they like?
