society

hi

"in this life the brave ones die, the smart ones go crazy and the world remains of happy fools". that's how society works, and that's why the world is so screwed. if you're smart enough to look outside the box you were put into at birth, no one will really listen to what you say, why? because they'll think u're crazy. they'll call a conspiracy theorist, someone in a state of psychosis, a madman.... anything to make u loose credibility. but that's when you know u're right. if they don't praise you it means u're deep in their propaganda, if they stay silent, you're starting to make em unconfortable, but if they critisize you, that's when you know you've escaped their propaganda, that's what's dangerous to them. if you're brave enough to speak up two things will happen: eitheir they'll kill you or you'll kill yourself. when you know too much, you become a danger to them, because people might wake up too. so they'll do everything in their power to silence you, either they'll kill you (like they've done many times before, like with JFK), they'll make ur life so terrible you'll kill urself (safer and less suspicious, but has a higher risk of not working) or they'll put you in jail or a psych ward and tell everyone u're crazy. also, how can you live knowing how shit the world is? how can you live while being taunted for being different? how can you hope for the future in such a world? and so the world remains of happy fools, of people too blind to realise what's going on, people too distracted to look away from their phone.

"give them bread and circuses and they'll never revolt" (from the latin phrase panem et circensis). a roman phrase still used today. there's two things that lead people into realising (and therefore revolting): necesity and boredom. by giving them bread you eliminate necesity, necesity can lead people to do the unimaginable just to survive, including overthrowing the government. by giving them circuses (or games/entertainment) you eliminate boredom, boredom gives people time to think, to reflect, to question, to realise stuff they don't want you to realise. how does this apply to today? well, easy. the bread is communism, socialism, communities to help the homeless, government aid..., organisations that give people the minimum to survive, the minimum for them to be comfortable and not revolt. social media is the circuses, something that consumes people's lifes, that makes sure they're never bored, that they never have time to think..., something free, accesible to everyone, pushed by people, so that if you don't have it u're the weird one so people won't follow ur example. but if they're a "good government" why are they so concerned about being overthrown? isn't democracy about what people want? they why are they so concerned about what people might want?
